For teens interested in both the performance and technical aspects that go into online radio and podcasting, the MRC is offering a week-long workshop into the next frontier of radio. During the camp, members will cover topics included but not limited to:
- Basic concepts, processes and technical aspects of running on online radio show
- Topics will include choosing a theme, creating a format and choosing gear to setting up, recording, broadcasting, posting ad promoting the final product.
- Use of DAWs like ProTools and GarageBand as well as proper micing techniques

Basic operation of equipment found in a radio station including microphones, mixing consoles, and media players like turntables and CD players

How to produce a podcast .

Free to Members – Non-members may join the MRC for as little as $10 (based on annual household income) and become members for the year!
Open to rising 6th – 12th graders.
