INFORMATION FOR MEMBERS JOINING In order to become a member, you must be currently enrolled in school and between the 7th and 12th grades. Rising 7th graders are eligible for membership during the preceding summer, and graduating seniors remain eligible until the start of the fall term. You will need to fill out a membership application, which you can download or pick up from the MRC during open hours. If you are less than 18 years old, you will need a parent's signature. There is also an annual membership fee which starts at a nominal $10 and can increase if you or your parents are interested in giving us more support. You must fill out these forms and provide the application fee before you can attend the MRC. Please come prepared, even if it is your first day. ATTENDING In order to attend the MRC, you must have attended school earlier that day. When you first arrive, you'll have to go through a brief sign-in process at the front desk, after which you are free to use the facilities as you see fit. We ask only that you respect our equipment and try to remain focused and productive. HOURS The MRC is open to members on weekday afternoons all year. Summer: Monday-Friday 1:00pm-7:00pm, Saturday 12:00pm-5:00pm School Year: Monday-Friday, 2:30pm-7:00pm, Saturday 12:00pm-5:00pm We usually will not open on days when the Charlottesville schools close due to inclement weather.
