Participants in the Audio Engineering summer camp will receive instruction and hands on experience with multiple aspects of audio engineering from studio to live applications. Students will explore various mic’ing techniques, audio signal flow, routing and will be introduced to recording and mixing audio in ProTools. Participants will complete the camp with a foundational understanding of microphone types and their usages. Participants will also learn various effects for mixing and how to apply them to create the sound they desire. Additionally, participants will become familiar with live sound and how to construct a basic PA system, set levels and navigate a professional mixing console.
