Sibley Johns – Executive Director
Sibley has a B.A. in English and a M.Ed. in Counselor Education from the University of Virginia. She has worked with numerous non-profit agencies, both as an employee and volunteer. Her work includes counseling experience with troubled teenagers and their families. Sibley studied jazz, blues and the music of world cultures as an undergraduate student, and enjoys songwriting and playing the guitar.
Cory Teitelbaum – Program Manager
Cory has an Associate of Science degree in Recording Engineering from Full Sail in Orlando, Florida. Cory has studied electric and acoustic guitar for 20 years and has been involved in music recording for 18 years. He is an accomplished musician and plays a variety of styles of music.
Damani Harrison – Outreach Coordinator
Damani studied music at William and Mary before moving to Charlottesville to work at MusicToday. In addition to working at the MRC, he spends his time writing for local publications as well as recording, promoting, and touring with Beetnix.
Maria Gall – Program Assistant
Maria teaches acoustic guitar lessons, assists with fundraising and events, and coordinates volunteer efforts at MRC. She is a talented singer/songwriter and has a degree in Media Studies from the University of Virginia.
Isaiah Anderson – Studio Assistant
Isaih is a former MRC member who specialized in dance and hip hop production. Isaih teaches our dance classes as well as production techniques.
Matthew Carter – Studio Assistant
Matthew is another former MRC member and one of the greatest drummers in Charlottesville. He teaches drum lessons as well as assists in studio sessions.
Rodney Allen – Studio Assistant
Rodney is a former MRC member who focused his time here rehearsing drums and piano. He will be helping out with lessons as well as digital composition.
