New Website!

Welcome to the new Music Resource Center website!

I’m really excited about this new version.  We’ve switched to a WordPress format which allows a lot more flexibility with what I’m able to do here and what you’ll be able to do here.  It will be a work in progress, but I think the site overall has improved 110%.  Well, maybe just 103%, but I’m gonna get that last 7% in the next few weeks.

A lot of the content here is exactly the same as our old site right down to the crazy CSS code Vijith used.  Over time this will be replaced to be a little more slick and Web 2.0 inspired.  Here’s what is new:

• The Blog! Ya, we’re blogging now (obviously).  I hope to have quite a few posts a week keeping everyone updated on whats going down at the MRC.  Please jump in and comment as I would like this to be a very interactive section.
• The “Alumni” link! This is brand spankin’ new…kinda. The MRC staff has been talking about doing this for quite some time now, but my lack of knowledge in the interwebs has kept me from doing so, until now.  Here you will find a growing list of former MRC members who are doing big things now that they’ve left us.  If you are a former member who would like to be listed, please send me and email at musicresourcecenter@gmail.com.
